The Fashion Police is having a field day today no doubt after yesterday’s annual Golden Globes Awards.  Here’s my two cents on the good, the bad and the WTF!

The Good

Jessica Chastain in a beautiful sky-blue Calvin Klein.  Loved the color and simplicity of the dress!  Very old Hollywood with a trendy color.

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior.  One of the hottest young actresses around, Jennifer wows in a bold color choice.  The simple belt accents her slim waistline and forms a beautiful silhouette!

Jessica Alba in Oscar de la Renta.  Always so put together, Jessica looks perfect from head to toe.  Love the makeup, the hair and oh, the $5.8 million dollar Harry Winston necklace isn’t so bad either.

The Bad

Marion Cotillard was so close yet so far with her Dior Couture dress.  I liked it until I saw the bottom.  It just screamed informal to me in a very formal setting.  Maybe if she had better shoes…

Olivia Munn is a gorgeous gal but I felt this Giorgio Armani dress did nothing for her.   Sort of a meh choice, perhaps better suited for someone older.

Julianne Hough in a Monique Lhullier ball gown.  Maybe it was the punk rock hair that confused me.  The contrasting look can be done, but not with this dress.  Perhaps if it was black…or perhaps not.  NEXT!

Lucy Liu in Carolina Herrera.  I almost see where she was going with this…but all I can see is pattern.  Or envisioning the scene from Sound of Music when Maria made the children’s clothes with curtains.

I think Rachel Weisz is one of the prettiest actresses around today, but she did not impress in this Louis Vuitton number.  Of all events, the Golden Globes is the one event to totally glam up and bring your A game.  I can see this dress working at a premiere or charity event, but here, she is overshadowed.

Sienna Miller in Erdem.  Not flattering at ALL!  I felt like she asked a five year old on the street to sketch out her dress and she made it happen.  WTF.
