Only a little more than a week until Turkey Day and what is everybody preparing?  Usually the preparation of the turkey is too intimidating for me so I put myself in charge of some of the side dishes.  I won’t sell myself short though, side dishes can make or break a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner!

I will be showcasing easy and delicious dishes throughout the week that even the most amateur of chefs can prepare!  First off…Roasted Sweet Potatoes!

For 8 servings, take 6 or 7 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed into bite sized pieces.  Toss lightly with olive oil, some melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar.  Place in baking pan and put in oven at 350 degrees for about an hour!  Mix it around halfway!  Super easy and a dish everybody (well who likes sweet potatoes) can enjoy!
